On June 26th thru June 29th, 2012, Maximum K9 and Tactical K9 will be offering a two stationed E-Collar Workshop, sponsored by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. This course was developed to offer not only the basic E-collar Course that Tactical K9 instructs but also an advanced course. This advanced course will bring all the disciplines learned in the first course into the working environment. The Foundation E-Collar Workshop course is a requisite for the advanced course. The basic course has a ceiling of 10 students. The advanced course has a ceiling of twenty five students. 

The advanced course will offer the student instruction on direction and control work in the search environment as well as control during tactical scenarios.  Students will learn problem solving techniques during this advanced training.  Officer safety as well as handler / canine control will be the focus of this class.  As always be prepared to work and decoy in both classes - proper decoy and canine manipulation will be instructed as needed.  An attachment is available for review.  Once again both classes will have a low student to instructor ratio to allow for problem solving during both courses.  Please reserve your spot as these classes are filling quickly.  As always we will honor reservations for future classes when this workshop fills.
